Mingma Ghising
Born in 2074, Mingma Ghising lives in Ward No. 7, Khadadevi Rural Municipality, with his parents, Harke Ghising and Neeru Tamang. He currently attends Avaani Foundation’s Special School in Bhimsen Marg, Hadigaun, Kathmandu, a space where he receives care tailored to his needs.
Mingma faces challenges that most children don’t. Due to his special needs, he requires consistent support, emotionally, physically, and medically. Yet his family, already burdened with rent, transportation, food, and health care costs, struggles to provide even the basics.
His father works hard to support them, but the rising cost of living in the city makes things incredibly difficult. Despite this, Mingma continues to grow and learn in a loving environment, but he needs a helping hand.
