Meet Sakshyam, a quiet and gentle soul growing up in Sarlahi, Nepal, with dreams waiting to take flight.

Sakshyam Khadka

Born in 2075, Sakshyam Khadka lives with his parents, Ishwor Khadka and Sita Thapa, in Ward No. 3, Raniganj, Lalbandi. He is currently enrolled at Avaani Foundation School in Hadigaun, Bhimsen Marg, Kathmandu, a place where he’s beginning to find confidence and care in a supportive environment.

But behind his calm nature is a family struggling to stay afloat. With growing costs for rent, transportation, food, and medical care, it’s a daily challenge for Sakshyam’s parents to provide stability. His father works hard to meet their needs, but expenses in the city often outpace what they can earn.

This is Khewansh, a sweet and sensitive little boy from Saptari, learning to navigate life with autism and a heart full of quiet strength.

Born in 2078, Khewansh Rauniyar lives in Surunga-7, Saptari, with his parents, Shiva Kumar Sahu Rauniyar and Priya Rauniyar. He is currently studying in Play Group at Aavani Foundation School in Bhimsen Marga, Kathmandu, a place where he receives gentle care and support as he begins his learning journey.

Diagnosed with autism, Khewansh requires special attention, patience, and consistent therapy to grow and thrive. His parents are doing their best, but the rising cost of rent, transportation, medical care, and daily food makes life overwhelming.
